Compare it to the gym where you work on your physical goals. Here you work on your thesis goals.

The Thesis Tribe provides thesis writing support in an online community where you’ll find likeminded students with a common goal: completing that thesis.

Like in the gym:

• when you registered for a session, you show up
• once you are there, you join the group
• and when seeing others work, you’ll step up too.

And of course I am your personal cheerleader. I’ll motivate and challenge you, to help you reach your goals.

This is how it works

As a member of the thesis tribe you’ll have unlimited acces to all online sessions

• You will work on your thesis from home, the library or any other place, together with other students via Zoom. You will meet bachelor and master students. Feel free to join if you are a PhD student, too.
• Make a plan for the day.
• Execute the plan during the Working Apart Together sessions (find the schedule below)
• Language: Dutch and English

So what’s the deal, you may wonder…  The Thesis Tribe doesn’t really compare to regular thesis support, neither in terms of content nor in terms of price. Have you ever checked? Fees for private thesis support easily reach from 50 to even 70 euro per hour (!).

The Thesis Tribe membership with:

Andrina is echt de stok achter de deur die ik nodig had, maar wel op een super positieve manier! Het ‘moetje’ van die scriptie afschrijven voelde daardoor ook veel minder als een ‘moetje’ en door dat ritme elke dag en de medestrijders tijdens de online sessies ging ik niet meer uitstellen maar maakte ik het echt (beetje bij beetje) af :)

Heel veel gehad aan het scriptielokaal! Andrina was echt de stok achter de deur! Echt een aanrader als je hulp nodigt hebt bij je discipline. check ook even de website taalwinkel.nl die legt het hele scriptie verslag duidelijk uit! Ook ontzettend veel aan gehad. Highly recommended. Whether you need support, sympathy or a gentle reality check, Andrina has got you covered. (Also if you need all three of them at different points in time). And you will meet others who are in the same situation as you are, which is helpful (and often quite fun too). If you struggle with the solitary nature of thesis writing, but the fixed-time type of thesis groups universities tend to have on offer do not work for you - definitely check this place out.

Scriptielokaal helped me a lot with gradutating. It simplifies scheduling your days and weeks, so, you can just focus on getting things done and writing the thesis. I can also, highly recommend the plus subscription where you get further guidance and advice on your plans and methods. Scriptielokaal.nl is de absolute gamechanger voor scriptie-stress! Dankzij de WAT-sessies heb ik eindelijk mijn focus (terug)gevonden. En is mijn titel ‘Queen uitstellen’ gehalveerd ;). Met drie korte, intense werksessies van 25 minuten zonder afleidingen, voelde ik me gemotiveerd en gesteund door mijn medestrijders. Een speciale dank naar Andrina voor haar positieve vibes en haar vermogen om zonder oordeel te steunen. Het is gewoon echt waardevol om samen in stilte te werken, wetende dat anderen ook hard bezig zijn. Scriptielokaal heeft mijn scriptiegame naar een hoger niveau getild. EDIT: After 6 months with Scriptielokaal I was able to hand in my thesis and pass with a nice grade! I am very thankful to Andrina for helping me end this chapter. I can finally move on with my life. Joining Scriptielokaal was the best decision I made in 2023! I joined Scriptielokaal after struggling with my thesis for years. In just a month, I submitted the first 10 pages! Andrina really helped me with goal setting, time management, and accountability. The program is very flexible, and I can take part any time during the day so that I can also accommodate my other activities into my schedule. Whenever I get stuck, or I do not know what the next step in the process should be, I get help from Andrina or the other students. Na 3 jaar afstuderen, door allerlei externe factoren, eindelijk mijn scriptie behaald met een 7,5! Scriptielokaal heeft hier echt veel aan bijgedragen. Het gaf mij structuur om dagelijks toch een klein dagdeel bezig te gaan, ook als ik totaal geen zin had. Eerst dacht ik: ik moet dit toch ook zelf kunnen zonder in te loggen met andere studenten, maar juist het samen bezig zijn en de tijdslimiet van 25 min x 3 waren zo prettig. Ik kreeg in die anderhalf uur soms meer gedaan dan in weken daarvoor naar mijn scherm staren. Mijn man vond het ook komisch om mij bezig te zien in mijn (zoals hij dat noemde) ‘klasje’. Vooral als we gingen gymnastieken in de sprintweek 😂 Andrina en alle mede strijders, bedankt! En hopelijk tot nooit meer ziens 🤭😘

Andrina is een hele fijne stabiele factor tijdens het afstuderen. Met een moederlijk medeleven en begrip, maar tegelijkertijd een bak kennis over het process van het schrijven van een scriptie. Een aanrader als je net een beetje extra support nodig hebt!
